Carrie Movie - Carrie Remake

There's a remake of Carrie ahead of us! MGM and Screen Gems have indeed hired Playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa to resurrect Carrie with a more faithful adaptation of Stephen King's novel. For those who don't know the original Carrie movie, it was directed by Brian De Palma and released in 1976: the story based on Stephen King's first published novel, revolved around a high school girl who, through telekinetic powers, takes revenge on peers that have mocked her. The remake of Carrie will likely be released in 2013.

I forgot that John Travolta played in the original Carrie! Let's hope he will agree to a cameo in the remake. What actress do you think should be cast for the lead role as Carrie? Lindsay Lohan, Megan Fox or someone else?
